Thursday, September 20, 2012 – Dr. Kenneth R. Cummings, Executive Vice-President of ARPAS, spoke about the activities of ARPAS at the national level. Dr. Vernon G. Pursel was post-humously presented the Distinguished Professional Animal Scientist Award by Dr. Cummings, Dr. William D. Price, Dr. Roger J. Gerrits, and Dr. Lawrence A. Johnson. Louise Riedel, Dr. Pursel’s widow, accepted the award for the Pursel family.
