The ARPAS Foundation Board held their annual meeting on June 24 in Cincinnati, Ohio, in conjunction with the ADSA annual meeting. The Foundation is in a good financial situation with a current balance of $205,000. Kenneth Cummings is working with the fund manager to balance the funds to optimize returns, which have been positive for the past year.

The ARPAS Foundation Board approved a proposal to support a travel stipend for the graduate student representative to the Governing Council meeting each year. This will allow the graduate student to travel to the Governing Council meeting without having to worry about funding.

The ARPAS Foundation continues to support graduate students interested in ARPAS by paying the exam fees for the ARPAS exam. This program has resulted in a good number of students taking the exam each year and becoming members.

As a reminder, the ARPAS Foundation welcomes contributions from members and sponsors. The goal of the foundation is to use the interest earned each year to support activities that promote membership in ARPAS and the overall mission of ARPAS. We would also like to remind everyone that the ARPAS Foundation also provides funds to help Chapters.
